Pocket Threes is a comprehensive poker night management platform designed for home game hosts. It helps you create events, manage player invitations, track RSVPs, run tournament clocks, handle bank tracking for buy-ins and cashouts, and send game recaps to players. ### How do I sign up for Pocket Threes? Click the "Sign Up" or "Get Started" button on the home page. You'll need to provide an email address and create a password. After signing up, you can immediately start creating events and managing your poker nights. All new accounts start with a free trial of premium features. ### Is Pocket Threes free to use? Pocket Threes offers a free plan with basic features, as well as Plus and Pro subscription plans with additional capabilities. All new users get a free trial to test premium features. From your Events page, click "Create Event" and fill in the details like date, time, location, buy-in amount, and player limit. You can also set custom settings like RSVP deadlines and whether the event is tournament or cash game format. ### Can I create recurring poker nights? Yes! Recurring events are available on Plus and Pro plans. You can set up weekly, monthly, or custom recurring poker nights that automatically create new events and send invitations to your regular players. This saves time and ensures consistent attendance. ### How do email invitations work? When you create an event, you can select players from your database to invite. Pocket Threes sends professional email invitations with RSVP links, event details, and calendar integration. Players can RSVP with one click, and you'll see their responses in real-time on the event page and receive an email notification of their response. ### Can I send SMS invitations? Yes! SMS invitations are available on paid plans. You can send text message invitations and reminders to players. Players can reply with YES, NO, or MAYBE to RSVP directly via text. Note: Guests who want to receive SMS invitations will need their own free Pocket Threes account to opt-in to SMS communications. ### Do guests need an account to RSVP? No! Guests can RSVP directly from the invitation link without creating an account. They simply click the link in the email or text message and select their response. Only hosts need a Pocket Threes account to create and manage events. ### Can I create date polls to schedule events? Yes! You can create date polls where players vote on their preferred dates. This helps you find the best time when most players are available. Once voting is complete, you can convert the winning date into an actual event with one click. ## Player Management ### How do I add players to my database? Go to the Players page and click "Add Player". Enter their name, email, and optionally phone number and notes. You can also add players directly when creating an event. Your player database saves time by storing contact information for future invitations. ### Can I track player attendance history? Yes! Each player's profile shows their complete attendance history, including games attended, no-shows, and RSVP reliability. This helps you plan future events and prioritize invitations for your most reliable players. ### How does the waitlist feature work? When an event reaches its player limit, additional RSVPs are automatically added to a waitlist. If a confirmed player cancels, the next person on the waitlist is automatically notified that a spot has opened up. ## Tournament Features ### What is the tournament clock feature? The tournament clock is a built-in timer that manages blind levels, breaks, and tournament progression. It displays current blinds, next blinds, time remaining, and automatically advances through your tournament structure. It's perfect for running professional-feeling home tournaments. ### Can I customize tournament structures? Yes! You can create custom tournament structures with your preferred blind levels, level duration, starting chips, and break schedule. Save your favorite structures to reuse for future tournaments. We also provide several preset structures for quick setup. ### Can players view the tournament clock? Yes! You can share a live view link that players can access on their phones or tablets during the game. They can see the current blinds, time remaining, and tournament structure without needing to create an account. ## Bank Tracking & Money Management ### What is bank tracking? Bank tracking helps you manage all money flowing in and out during your poker night. Record buy-ins, rebuys, add-ons, and cashouts for each player. The system automatically calculates each player's net win/loss and ensures your bank balances correctly at the end of the night. ### Does Pocket Threes process player payments? No. Pocket Threes is only a tracking and management tool. We do not process any player funds, collect buy-ins, or distribute prizes. All money exchange happens directly between you and your players. We simply help you keep accurate records. ## Game Recaps & History ### What information is included in game recaps? Game recaps show attendance, buy-in/cashout details for each player, biggest winner and loser, and tournament results (if applicable). ### Can I view statistics across multiple games? Yes! Premium plans include analytics that track performance over time, showing win rates, attendance patterns, and player statistics across all your games. This helps you understand trends and engagement within your poker community. ## Subscription & Billing ### What's the difference between Free, Plus, and Pro plans? The Free plan includes basic event creation and email invitations. Plus adds unlimited events, recurring events, SMS invitations, and advanced player tracking. Pro includes everything in Plus with higher limits, priority support, and advanced analytics. Visit our Pricing page for complete details. ### How does the free trial work? New accounts receive a free trial of premium features. You can test all Pro features without entering payment information. If you don't upgrade before the trial ends, your account automatically converts to the Free plan. Note: SMS invitations are not included in the free trial, but you can use the shareable invitation link to manually send from your own phone via SMS. ### Can I cancel my subscription anytime? Yes! You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing & Plan page. You'll retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan. ### What is your refund policy? Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, but we may provide refunds for duplicate billing or technical errors at our discretion.
